Ashley Ave. Soaring to New Heights after Grizzlies Halftime Performance at the FedEx Forum

Although Ashley Ave. may not be a global superstar yet, her halftime performance for The Memphis Grizzlies was no small feat.

The trending NBA team closed out their regular season with a win over the Portland Trailblazers. This night at the FedEx Forum included an electrifying halftime performance by musical sensation, Ashley Ave., accompanied by the renowned Grizzlies House Band, led by Music Director Gary Goin.

"I've always wanted to be a global super star that's big enough to perform at sold-out arenas. But I understand that before I get there, I must be a local super star first."

The rising star on the Memphis music scene is known for her unique blend of R&B, pop, and soul. Her soulful sound opened the show with mega hits including I’m Your Baby Tonight (Whitney Houston) and Grenade (Bruno Mars) followed by her original songs Keep Me and ( “It'll All Be Over). Her engaging stage presence and choreography added an extra layer of excitement to the performance. Meanwhile, The Grizzlies House Band meshed perfectly with the singer's vocals, creating a seamless fusion of live music and entertainment.

What really stood out was the seamless transition between the records we knew and those that were new to our ears. Despite being a new independent artist, it was easy to tell that this wasn’t her first performance, although it may have been her first half time show. Ashley Ave. is on her way to being that global superstar. One arena at a time.

Upcoming performances: April 27 at the Black Lodge with Warner Music's Fresco Trey.
